This presentation focuses on my research work on modeling and simulating reactive two-phase flows, incorporating semi-detailed chemistry and a Lagrangian approach for the dispersed phase. The presentation focuses in particular on the prediction of pollutant emissions, especially soot and nitrogen oxides (NOx), and explores the prospects offered by these developments for the evaluation of alternative fuels in the context of energy transition.
