Kick-off Meeting in Delft

UrbanAIR launched with a two-day meeting on 3–4 February 2025 at TU Delft. Over 60 representatives from all partners came together to align on modelling, city pilots, behavioural research, and user needs. The discussions marked the start of a shared effort to turn science into actionable tools for urban resilience.

Meet the Consortium

UrbanAIR unites 18 partners from 11 countries. The team includes climate modellers, urban planners, behavioural scientists, and technology experts. From national meteorological institutes to supercomputing centres, the consortium brings a mix of research and practical know-how.

UrbanAIR at EGU 2025

On 28 April 2025, our coordinator Dr @Femke Vossepoel presented UrbanAIR at the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly. She introduced the project's modular digital twin, a system that supports hyper-local planning by integrating physics-based models, real time data, and behavioural simulation.
