Hydrogen/air combustion
Here are the mechanisms which will be detailed in the following section :
They are sorted in decending order of complexity.
Please, note that unless explicitly specified, the output files provided in this website are a mean of comparison and are not necessarily formatted to be used as a restart file for cantera/can2av/...
UCSD mechanism
This detailed mechanism of hydrogen combustion in air has been developed by the San Diego University and involves 57 species in 268 reactions. More info on this web site (CHEMKIN format, FlameMaster format, etc.).
A reduced version of the mechanism, consisting of only 9 species and 21 reactions is also available.
- 1D freely-propagating premixed flame
Data files are provided below (detailed version of the mechanism) :
Boivin's mechanism
The mechanism is a 12-steps model including 9 species. The .cti file is available here.
More information can be found in Boivin's thesis.

- Standard conditions : 300K - 1bar - phi=1
- Standard conditions : 300K - 1bar and various phi (restart xml file)
- Standard conditions : 300K - 1bar - phi=1 (can2av formatted)
Data files are provided below :
In order to compute this mechanism with the AVBP transport model you'll need the following input files (.dat) :
Keep in mind, though, that the values provided in those files should be adapted to your operating range.
