The latest results of the 2018 ERC have been announced: https://erc.europa.eu/news/erc-2018-advanced-grants-results
IMFT (Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse) and CERFACS have won a second ERC advanced grant in the field of combustion: https://insis.cnrs.fr/fr/personne/thierry-poinsot.
This 2.5 Meuro grant will allow to study hydrogen combustion for the storage of renewable energies using experiments (at IMFT) and simulations (using CERFACS tools). This is the second ERC advanced grant obtained by IMFT and CERFACS after the INTECOCIS project in 2013 (intecocis.inp-toulouse.fr) and it confirms the unique place of Toulouse in the world of combustion.
