🚨Attention: new secure Cerfa form
Important information concerning paper sick leave certificates following the decree on securing sick leave certificates No. 2025-587 of June 28, 2025.
As of today, we no longer accept the old paper formats for sick leave certificates (see image below).
A new secure Cerfa form has been introduced, featuring seven authentication points: special paper, a holographic label that cannot be photocopied, magnetic ink, the prescriber’s identification marks, etc.
The aim of the French health insurance system is to prevent fraud related to sick leave. The use of this secure Cerfa form is intended to significantly reduce the risk of falsification. The French health insurance system has made the fight against fraud one of its priorities and is particularly vigilant in combating false sick leave.
From now on, any non-secure paper sick leave form will be rejected by the French national health insurance system. In our case, we offer salary maintenance and subrogation, but we will be unable to implement these measures if we do not receive the sick leave form in the new secure format.
⚠️Therefore, we urge everyone to be very vigilant when a practitioner fills out and gives you a paper sick note. Do not hesitate to ask them to complete the sick note online, or if this is not possible, it is essential that they fill out the new Cerfa sick note form.
