Friday morning, 26 April 2024: we are delighted to welcome Christine Arrighi, MP for the 9th constituency of Haute-Garonne, and a delegation from Météo-France to discuss the issue of forest and vegetation fires.
This visit is the culmination of work carried out since the end of 2023 by a trio set up under the aegis of the Office parlementaire d’évaluation des Choix scientifiques et technologiques (OPECST), comprising Christine Arrighi, Jean-Claude André, a member of the Académie des Sciences and former Director of Cerfacs, and Mélanie Rochoux, a researcher in the GLOBC team.
