The collaboration between CERFACS and INTEL in the IPCC center has allowed remarkable improvements in the efficiency of the combustion code AVBP. Accelerations of the 7.0.2 AVBP of the order of 20 to 40 percent have been observed on real production cases on all architectures tested (see below). AVBP is used as a LES production tool by multiple companies: these gains lead to very significant savings for those companies in terms of CPU time and cost.
