CERFACS is participating in the 2024 SWOT Science Team Meeting at the Friday Conference Center in Chapel Hill, NC, USA. The SWOT satellite, a collaboration between NASA and CNES, is delivering unprecedented images of ocean and continental surface water elevation. The SWOT mission is expected to substantially improve the precision of predictions regarding the timing and locations of flooding in Earth’s rivers, lakes, and reservoirs.
